Implementation of the Lantek Bend software solution and upgrade of the sheet metal bending process
We are pleased to present a new success story of digital transformation at PREIS Sevnica, where we have successfully implemented the Lantek Bend solution and upgraded their sheet metal bending process.
- A digital leap forward in production preparation
With the introduction of advanced software, the team can now quickly and reliably prepare a program for the machine directly from STEP models. This means significantly fewer manual settings, greater precision in manufacturing, and faster and more transparent production preparation. The digital connection between design and workshop is thus becoming simple, efficient, and traceable.
- A comprehensive approach to implementation
The project did not only involve the installation of software, but also the comprehensive adaptation of the system to the actual production needs. The key steps included:
- adaptation and configuration of the Lantek Bend system to existing processes and machines,
- practical training of users for independent and efficient work,
- optimization of the path from the digital model to the final product.
Particular emphasis was placed on simplifying workflows and reducing the possibility of errors in data transfer between departments.
- Measurable results
The result of the project is a more connected, digitized, and efficient production process. Program preparation time has been reduced, the number of manual interventions has decreased, and manufacturing accuracy and repeatability have increased. With this, the company has taken an important step toward modern, data-driven manufacturing.
